Video Content Strategy
The first image below outlines the video strategy for videos created by the Video Experience team versus videos created by the Developer Relations team. The second image displays workshop notes for the value proposition session I led to help align the team to our mission and identify thevalue video content brings to the team and company.
I then implemented the strategy of placing videos within their respective documentation sections versus the isolated Learning Paths section.

SASE videos
After placing the SASE 2: Stop hosting your own VPN video in the Cloudflare One docs, we observed a significant uptick in views:
- The video was uploaded to the Cloudflare Tunnel sesction on Fri, Aug. 1, 2025 with page views at 611.
- Page views on Mon., Aug., 4, 2025: 989
That's a 61.86% increase in page views after the video was added to the Cloudflare One docs.
After moving the entire four video series into the Cloudflare One space, the number of views for the SASE videos in the Cloudflare One docs went from 664 to 23,100, a 3378.92% increase!
Load Balancing video
The load balancing video currently exists both in docs and on the dashboard. The video is currently only available on the purchase page of the dashboard, shown to users to advertise load balancing.
- The video was uploaded to the load balancing dashboard and available to all gates on August 25th, 2025.
- As of September 8th, 2025 the video had 755 views.
- As of September 8th, 2025, users who watched the video have opened the purchase subscription modal 30% more than those who did not open the video, and over 4% more likely to purchase a basic load balancing plan. This a 585% improvement in purchases from those who have watched the video
