Technical Writing & Content Strategy - Fundamentals overhaul

Fundamentals was created to help users learn the basics of using Cloudflare, such as creating your account, transferring your domain to Cloudflare, learning how traffic flows through Cloudflare, and etc.

Fundamentals started out as a very basic section, as seen in this March 2022 Fundamentals view but the section quickly became unorganized over time (as seen in the screenshot below), which was why I was assigned to overhaul it.

After research and stategy work, I created multiple pull requests in chunks at a time to ensure I wouldn't completely break the tile or any relative links. This filtered list in GitHub shows all of the PRs that I created beginning in January 2025.

The screenshot below highlights what I started with and can be compared against the current state of the Fundamentals documentation.
